Accessibility Assistance
If you are a person with a mobility impairment or other health issue requiring assistance, please notify our agents upon arrival at the dock. They will facilitate your access to the passenger decks. If necessary, our staff will provide assistance to any passengers requiring it. Our service areas are also wheelchair accessible.
Restaurant
We have lunch counter available on the the ferry starting October 15.
Bar
Our bar offers great views of the St. Lawrence and excellent drinks.
Souvenir Shop
The souvenir shop offers regional specialty products from the Charlevoix and Rivière-du-Loup areas and local crafts from the Corporation Métiers d’art/Bas-Saint-Laurent. T-shirts, sweaters, polo shirts, hats, postcards and more are also available. Take home a real treasure for yourself or as a gift!
Children's Playroom
Kids can have fun during the crossing in our ferry playroom. Note that children must be accompanied by a parent at all times.
On-board Wifi
Passengers aboard the MV Trans-Saint-Laurent have access to free wireless Internet Service
Tourist Information
Passengers can peruse a wide variety of tourist information available in the display units located near the souvenir shop, where our partners – restaurants, lodging establishments and tourist attractions – provide pamphlets and brochures describing their facilities and services. Our staff can also provide information about the various services and attractions on both shores of the St. Lawrence.
Elevator
Our elevator allows persons with mobility impairments or other health issues to safely reach the upper deck. If necessary, our staff will provide assistance to any passengers requiring it.

With a capacity of 100 vehicles and 365 passengers, the MV Trans-Saint-Laurent has an attentive crew to ensure your safety and comfort. Many services are available aboard the ferry to add to your enjoyment as you cruise through the unique surroundings of the St. Lawrence and its islands.
FAQ
Can I reserve a bus through your ferry service?
Reservations are not required for cars to board the MV Trans-Saint-Laurent. However, reservations are recommended for groups of 10 or more travelling by minibus, bus or coach.
Boarding proceeds in order of arrival, so we recommend that you be at the dock:
- 90 minutes before departure during the summer and holidays
- 30 minutes before departure during the spring and fall
Are Recreational Vehicles Allowed on the Ferry?
Recreational vehicles with propane tanks in excess 65 – litres are allowed (approved by Transport Canada)
Are pets allowed on the ferry?
With the exception of guide dogs, all pets must remain in your vehicle throughout the crossing.
What is your safety management policies?
The ferry company has implemented a safety management system (SMS) to ensure the safety of both passengers and staff, as well as to prevent pollution.
Our SMS and the ferry’s certification are both fully accredited by the BUREAU VERITAS classification society.
